Brian Bonn, a social networker and Apple Evangelist, met the love of his life in college when he purchased his Mac Book Pro. He has since been converting the lost souls of the design world to Apple Inc. Typically you can find Bonn, one of Denver’s top social networkers, at the Pepsi Center heckling the away team during Avalanche games or working as an assistant baseball coach for Valor Christian High School.
Bonn received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications with an emphasis in New Media Production from Hastings College in 2007. He served as Editor in Chief for HCworldnews.com, Station Manager of KFKX Radio, and a college sports commentator for KFKX Radio at the NAIA Women’s Basketball and Volleyball National Tournaments.
He is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, an honorary music fraternity and Alpha Psi Omega the theater honorary. Bonn received the Golden Mouse Award for his online work at Hastings College; received Golden Leave Awards for best personality & best sports broadcast and twice led KFKX to Nebraska Collegiate Media Association Station of the Year. HCWORLDNEWS.com received Website of the Year honors under his direction.
As a Digital Information Coordinator and web designer for Furniture Row Companies in Denver, Bonn has been recognized by the Boston Globe as a “Social media maven.” In his spare time he and his friends produce humor oriented videos to post on platforms such as 12SECONDS.TV.
Bonn hopes to expand his work in the field of media and technology. He authors a blog, bbonndesign.squarespace.com, where he discusses social media topics in relation to his life. He hopes to continue studying social trends in an effort to assist public understanding and utilization of social media.
